Q.01Will I lose my Google rankings when I move from Webflow to Astro?
Not if the migration is planned. Rankings drop when URLs change without redirects or when titles and content go missing. We map every old URL to its new one, keep the metadata and structured data, and watch Search Console after launch.
Q.02Why move from Webflow to Astro at all?
Usually for speed, ownership and cost. Astro ships plain HTML with almost no JavaScript, you own the code and can host it anywhere, and there is no per-site Webflow plan. You also get full control for custom features, 3D or a web app alongside the site.
Q.03Can my team still edit the site after the move?
Yes. Content moves to a headless CMS or Markdown files, so text, images and blog posts stay editable without a developer. Changing a page's layout needs a developer, which is the main trade-off against Webflow's visual editor.
Q.04Can you migrate the Webflow CMS, forms and interactions?
Yes. CMS collections are exported and imported into the new CMS, forms are rebuilt to send where yours send today, and Webflow interactions are rebuilt in code, usually lighter than the originals.
Q.05When should I stay on Webflow?
When your marketing team builds and rearranges pages every week without a developer, and the site needs no custom features. Then Webflow's editor is worth its plan, and we will tell you so.
