01 · Why a studio ships its own products

Our advice comes from experience, not slides.

Replaced with shipped software.

  1. R-01

    Same budgets as client work.

Every Labs product ships against the tolerances we write into client specs. If it misses a budget, it doesn't ship.

    LCP ≤ 2.5 sCLS ≤ 0.1INP ≤ 200 ms

  2. R-02

    Our money, our trade-offs.

We pay for our own hosting, our own dependencies and our own support time. It makes “just add a library” an expensive sentence.

    Cost per dependencymeasured, not guessed

  3. R-03

Lessons go back into client work.

What a product teaches us about onboarding, pricing pages or performance becomes advice you can check against something we run ourselves.
